Injuries Reported in Fremont Multi-Vehicle Crash on 680 Freeway and Scott Creek Road

FREMONT, CA (November 13, 2020) – Thursday morning, two people suffered injuries in a multi-vehicle accident on 680 Freeway and Scott Creek Road.

The incident involving four vehicles and a big-rig occurred at 7:38 a.m. on 680 Freeway and Scott Creek Road.

According to reports, a pickup truck unsafely changed lane in front of one of at least two larger trucks.

Upon changing lane, one of the larger trucks failed to stop and a chain-reaction crash happened.

Reports revealed that the crash involved at least two big rigs and a dump truck.

Furthermore, the incident left two people with minor injuries.

“It’s a mess, but cleanup is going well,” CHP Officer Tyler Hahn said.

By 12:10 p.m., all the lanes have reopened.

A crash involving multiple vehicles can happen in congested roads, busy streets, and intersections. Moreover, it is important to drive defensively and abide by all driving laws. Thus, you can ensure your safety and the safety of surrounding vehicles, motorists, and pedestrians.

Dealing with Similar Incidents

Accidents can leave you or your passengers severely injured, disfigured, and permanently disabled. Common events on the road can just as swiftly become safety hazards.

To avoid being involved in an auto accident, a driver must aim high in steering. Don’t make your steering adjustments based on what is directly in front of you. But rather what is down the road. If the road is winding to the right, for example, look as far into the turn as possible. This will improve your safety and make your turns smoother.

Also, the most valuable step you can take in response to a vehicle crash is hiring a personal injury attorney. Personal injury attorneys prioritize your recovery. At the same time, securing your future from further losses a severe accident can bring.

“A common misconception is that personal injury lawyers don’t care. That is simply not true. Injury lawyers care about and want justice for their clients. Also, we are driven by the desire to make our clients whole again,” says Steve Baric of Sweet Lawyers, an attorney practicing for over 40 years.

If you or a loved one has recently been involved in a similar multi-vehicle accident, you do not have to face the aftermath alone. Our attorneys will guide you through every step of the way. Also, we are here to assure that you receive the justice and compensation that you deserve. Call our offices today at (800) 674 7852 for a free consultation with a professional in your area.
