Afternoon 3-Car Crash on Highway 101 in Atascadero Leaves 2 Injured

 
ATASCADERO, CA (May 24, 2019) – Two people were injured following a three-car crash Friday afternoon in Atascadero.
 
The crash happened around 3:13 p.m. on southbound Highway 101 at Morro Road.
 
CHP officials responded to the scene and located a gray SUV, a gray Mercedes-Benz sedan a blue Kia Sportage. Two patients were injured from the crash and an ambulance unit was dispatched to give aid.
 
The roadway was closed until 3:31 p.m. while evidence from the scene was collected and photographed.
 
It is unknown if speed, drugs and/or alcohol were contributing factors in the crash. Further investigation is underway.
