2 Injured Following Motorcycle and Bus Crash on Dry Creek Road in Healdsburg

 
HEALDSBURG, CA (June 24, 2019) – Two people were injured Saturday afternoon, following a motorcycle crash on Dry Creek road near Dutcher Creek Road.
 
Authorities responded to the collision around 3:00 p.m. First responders arrived to the area shortly after.
 
According to reports, the male operator of the motorcycle suffered major abdominal injuries as a result of the impact. Paramedics later airlifted him to Memorial Hospital in Santa Rosa for further treatment.
 
Furthermore, his female passenger also suffered injuries and was brought to the same hospital. However, there has been no update on her current condition.
 
It is currently unclear what caused the collision. However, investigators say the motorcycle struck the left side of the bus as it traveled northwest.
 
The tour bus is operated by Pure Luxury Transportation, based in Petaluma. Its driver reportedly escaped injury.
 
The surrounding area was closed off for a brief time while crews worked to clear the wreckage. However the roadway has since reopened.
