Injuries Reported in Lago Vista Auto Accident on 25100 FM 1431
LAGO VISTA, TX (January 28, 2025) – Monday morning, an alarming head-on crash on 25100 FM 1431 injured 2 people.
The incident happened at about 7:24 a.m. in the 25100 block of FM 1431 near Tessera Parkway and Singleton Bend Road, said the Travis County Sheriff’s Office.
Both drivers were trapped in their vehicles after a collision, prompting a multi-agency response that included Austin-Travis County EMS, Travis County Emergency Services District 1, and STAR Flight.
One driver, suffering serious but non-life-threatening injuries, was transported to Round Rock Medical Center by ambulance. The other, critically injured, was airlifted to Dell Seton Medical Center via helicopter.
By mid-morning, traffic alternated through a single westbound lane as the Travis County Sheriff’s Office’s Highway Enforcement of Aggressive Traffic (H.E.A.T.) team began investigating.
The roadway remained partially closed during the investigation, with Lago Vista police urging motorists to expect delays and proceed cautiously through the area.
