Injuries Reported in Loleta Traffic Crash on US Highway 101 near Loleta Drive

LOLETA, CA (February 2, 2025) – Saturday afternoon, an alarming auto accident on US Highway 101 near Loleta Drive injured 1 person.

The incident involving a Chrysler 300 and a Toyota RAV4 occurred at around 3:00 p.m. on southbound U.S. Highway 101 near Loleta Drive.

The Toyota RAV4 sustained significant front-end damage and had two blown tires, while the Dodge sedan reportedly had all four tires intact.

As of the latest update, the Chrysler remained in the center divider, while the Toyota had been moved to the right shoulder. Traffic in the area was flowing smoothly.

At 3:50 p.m., emergency responders confirmed that two people were taken to the hospital after their vehicle was rear-ended. A man suffered a head injury, while a 74-year-old woman from the same vehicle complained of neck pain. Both were transported in the same ambulance. 

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
