Injuries Reported in Rancho Cordova Car Accident

 
RANCHO CORDOVA, CA (January 20, 2020)—Two people suffered injuries in a two-vehicle crash at Hazel Avenue and Folsom Boulevard Friday evening.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the 6:23 p.m. accident involved two cars. Investigators believe one vehicle might have ran a red traffic light.
 
Due to the crash, one person suffered moderate to major injuries. Paramedics brought that patient to UC Davis Medical Center while a second patient, albeit complained of pain, did not request to be transported.
 
The details of this incident remain unclear, but authorities plan to investigate it further. Thus far, alcohol and drugs do not appear to be contributing factors in the accident.
