2 Injured in Fatal Accident on US Highway 12 [Lewis County, WA]

1 Killed and 2 Hurt in Lewis County Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 12

 
LEWIS COUNTY, WA (October 28, 2020) – Monday morning, two people suffered injuries in a fatal accident on US Highway 12.
 
According to police reports, the head-on crash between two vehicles occurred around 6:30 a.m. Moreover, it happened on milepost 92, east of Mossyrock.
 
Trooper Chelsea Hodgson revealed that the driver who caused the incident was airlifted to an area hospital with injuries.
 
Meanwhile, the other vehicle had two occupants. Unfortunately, the passenger succumbed to injuries. On the other hand, responders transported the driver to an area hospital.
 
The authorities rerouted the traffic between Mossyrock and Morton to State Route 122-Harmony Road at milepost 86 and Seventh Street at milepost 97.
 
Moreover, Sgt. Darren Wright revealed that US Highway 12 will reopen by 11:00 a.m.
 
Due to the limited information available, the accident on Highway 12 remains under active investigation.
