Injuries Reported in San Diego Multi-Vehicle Accident on Willow Glen Drive
SAN DIEGO, CA (March 22, 2022) – Monday morning, two people suffered injuries in a three-vehicle crash on Willow Glen Drive.
The incident occurred at about 9:25 a.m. on Willow Glen Drive. According to reports, a black Kia drove across the double yellow lines and hit a white Toyota Camry head-on. Then, the Kia driver veered back into the westbound traffic lanes. However, it crashed with a gold Honda Accord.
As a result, responders took the 45-year-old Camry driver and the Kia driver to Sharp Memorial Hospital for moderate injuries. Meanwhile, the driver of the Honda Accord, a 62-year-old Chula Vista man, sustained no injuries.
Also, officers confirmed that all parties wore seatbelts at the time of the crash.
At this time, the cause of the crash remains unknown. Thus, the authorities continue to investigate the crash.
