Injuries Reported in Chula Vista Auto Accident on Northwoods Drive and Woods Drive

 
CHULA VISTA, CA (February 7, 2023) – Saturday morning, two people suffered injuries in a single-vehicle crash on Northwoods Drive and Woods Drive.
 
The incident happened at around 1:17 a.m. on Northwoods Drive and Woods Drive.
 
Chula Vista Police along with Chula Vista Fire Department all came to the crash scene. When they arrived, they located a white Tesla SUV. They confirmed that it crashed between a tree and a retaining wall after veering off the roadway.
 
Then, they also found two males outside of the vehicle with obvious facial injuries from the crash. After evaluation at the scene, both males refused hospitalization.
 
Then, police questioned the two individuals so they can identify who was the driver.
 
However, the male wearing the black jacket said that a friend drove the vehicle. However, the said driver fled after the crash.
 
Meanwhile, he added that the vehicle belonged to his father. He also said that he could not contact the friend who was driving the vehicle.
 
At this time, the authorities do not believe that alcohol played a role in the crash.
 
Then, Chula Vista Police towed the vehicle.
