The Bryan Police Department reports that the City of Bryan Traffic Operations Division is working to install temporary stop signs at the intersection following a major crash Thursday morning. 

Authorities continue urging drivers to avoid the area, use alternate routes, and anticipate travel delays.

The crash occurred around 8 a.m. at FM 2818 and Leonard Road, involving a dump truck and an SUV. 

Photos shared with KBTX show the dump truck striking a traffic light pole, causing significant damage.

Emergency responders transported two people to the hospital, and both are expected to recover.

Bryan Police shared updates on social media, advising drivers to steer clear of the intersection while crews address the situation.
