2 Hospitalized after San Francisco Car Accident

 
SAN FRANCISCO, CA (May 29, 2019) – Two people sustained injuries in a car accident on Monterey Boulevard on May 28.
 
The incident occurred about 1:00 p.m. on the Monterey Boulevard off-ramp from southbound Interstate Highway 280. The crash involved a Toyota van and a Mini Cooper.
 
According to fire officials, emergency responders used the Jaws of Life tool to free a victim. One victim sustained serious injuries while the other is now in stable condition.
 
Due to the crash, authorities shut down the off-ramp while they work on the scene. The closed lanes have since reopened.
