Injuries Reported in Long Beach Traffic Crash on Atlantic Avenue and Harding Street

LONG BEACH, CA (March 9, 2025) – Saturday morning, an alarming auto accident on Atlantic Avenue and Harding Street injured 2 people.

The incident happened at about 8:30 a.m. on Atlantic Avenue and Harding Street, said the Long Beach Police Department.

“The preliminary investigation suggests the female driver was traveling northbound on Atlantic Avenue and attempted to turn left onto Harding Street when her vehicle was struck by a southbound vehicle driven by the male driver, resulting in the collision,” police added.

The woman was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries, while the man sustained non-life-threatening injuries to his lower body and was transported to the hospital by ambulance, according to the department.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
