Hesperia, CA (May 02, 2025) On Tuesday evening, a hit-and-run crash on Sequoia Street left 2 people hurt and hospitalized.

According to authorities, the horrific crash happened on Apatite Avenue at around 7:15 p.m.,

Authorities say that the driver of an Audi reportedly ran a stop sign and crashed into a gray Toyota Camry, injuring both occupants.

After the collision, the Audi driver and a passenger fled the scene on foot.

San Bernardino County Sheriff’s deputies arrived and transported one injured driver to a local hospital. The other occupant later revealed he suffered a collapsed lung and remains hospitalized.

Witnesses captured a short video showing two individuals fleeing through an alley near Apatite Avenue. Community members shared the footage widely across social media platforms, including TikTok, in hopes of identifying the suspects.

Officials say that both vehicles show significant damages. A man wearing a black hoodie, believed to be the Audi driver, appeared to be in his early to mid-30s.

Authorities have opened an investigation but have not yet made any arrests. Officials urge anyone with information to contact the Hesperia Sheriff’s Station at (760) 947-1500.
