2 Injured in Citrus Heights Accident on Greenback Lane

 
CITRUS HEIGHTS, CA (July 21, 2020) – On Friday night, two people required hospitalization after a wrong-way crash on Greenback Lane.
 
The incident occurred at about 8:00 p.m. when a wrong-way driver traveled in the eastbound lanes of Greenback Lane. Afterward, the vehicle hit another car at Fountain Square Drive.
 
The authorities shut down all lanes of Greenback Lane between Brooktree Drive and San Juan Avenue during the investigation. However, the lanes reopened by 10:30 p.m.
 
Meanwhile, responders transported the victim with non-life-threatening injuries to an area hospital. Also, they took the driver to a hospital.
 
At this time, the police are still looking into the possibility of drugs or alcohol as factors in the incident.
