2 Hospitalized in Multi-Vehicle Crash on 8 Freeway and Morena Boulevard [San Diego, CA]

2 Injured in San Diego Multi-Vehicle Accident

SAN DIEGO, CA (January 21, 2019) – Two people suffered injuries after a multi-vehicle accident between six vehicles and a motorcycle in 8 Freeway.

California Highway Patrol Officer Tommy Doerr revealed that the incident occurred around 7:35 a.m. on westbound 8 Freeway, east of Morena Boulevard.

The motorcycle rider was transported to UC San Diego Medical Center in Hillcrest. Another person was transported to a hospital.

One of the victims suffered major injuries. The crash remains under investigation by the CHP.
