2 People Seriously Injured in Crash on Highway 101

Los Alamos, CA (July 5, 2020) – On Saturday, 2 people got hospitalized in a crash on Highway 101.

The crash happened at around midnight at the southbound lanes of US 101 south of Alisos Canyon Road.

Firefighters found a two-vehicle crash involving two people.

One of these two people was thrown from the vehicle and incurred major injuries, while the other one had minor injuries and did not require any treatment at the scene.

Calstar flew both of the victims to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital.

Meanwhile, authorities continue to investigate the incident.

As always, maintain focus while driving. Keep the distractions such as mobile phones away and focus on the road.

What to Do in Case of Vehicle Crash

Roadways, while scrupulously created and mapped for efficient travel, are one of the most dangerous settings. As common of an occurrence as they are, many people do not suspect what follows in the event of a car crash.

So, here are some helpful tips on what to do when in a car crash:

Before anything else, seek medical attention if you have been hurt.

Then, get to a safe place to prevent further damage or injury.

Also, collect as much information as possible: insurance and contact information of people involved in the accident, pictures/videos of vehicles involved. Do not forget to include documentation of fault, and whatever else that can be used for evidence.

Additionally, file a police report or incident report by calling 911.

And finally, hire an experienced personal injury attorney from Sweet Lawyers.
