2 Hospitalized in Chase Collision on Hammer Lane [Stockton, CA]

Stockton, CA (December 17, 2023) – Two people were rushed to a hospital following a chase collision on Hammer Lane Saturday afternoon.

It was about 5 p.m. when officers tried to make a traffic stop on Wilson Way and the driver sped off.

The authorities chased the car until it collided with another car on Hammer Lane and Holman Road. 

The driver of the vehicle officers were chasing was hurt and was transported to the hospital. Similarly, the person who was struck was transported as a precaution. 

Moreover, the authorities said the driver was on parole while his passenger had a warrant out for his arrest for a parole violation related to an armed robbery. The authorities also located a loaded gun and narcotics in the car.
