NORTH COUNTY, CA (April 23, 2019) – Two people suffered injuries in a car collision on 15 Freeway on April 21.
 
The incident occurred around 3:15 p.m. on northbound 15 Freeway near Scripps Poway Parkway.
 
According to reports, a car stopped in the center divide, while the other stopped on the right-hand side of the freeway.
 
Initial reports revealed that one of the cars drove the wrong way. However, CHP officers said that the first statement is incorrect.
 
As a result of the crash, authorities shut down the two left lanes of north 15 Freeway in the area and issued a SigAlert.
 
A fire dispatcher revealed that medics transported two people to hospitals.
