Redwood City DUI Car Accident on Seaport Boulevard Injures 2

 
REDWOOD CITY, CA (July 5, 2019) – Two people suffered injuries in a suspected DUI car accident on Seaport Boulevard Tuesday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, officers started chasing the driver at 11:41 a.m. for allegedly speeding and unsafely switching lanes on Highway 101. The suspect’s vehicle subsequently went in the wrong direction and collided with a car on Seaport Boulevard.
 
The suspect sustained major injuries, while an occupant in the other vehicle had minor injuries. Emergency responders took both of them to a hospital.
 
Officers booked the suspect on suspicion of DUI. CHP Officer Art Montiel said they needed a blood draw to confirm more details on this suspected DUI crash on Seaport Boulevard.
