2 Hospitalized Following Accident on 10 Freeway (Banning, CA)

Crash on 10 Freeway in Banning Sends 2 People to Hospital

 
BANNING, CA (August 01, 2019) – First responders took two people to a hospital following an accident on 10 Freeway in Banning on Tuesday afternoon.
 
A preliminary report from the California Highway Patrol indicated that involved in the crash were multiple vehicles. However, it appeared that only one SUV crashed at 3:00 p.m. on the westbound side of the freeway near 8th Street.
 
Fire department officials said they received reports of people trapped in the vehicle. But by the time paramedics got to the scene, they had freed themselves. Two people were taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
 
Motorists experienced major delays in traffic as a result of the crash. Further investigation is ongoing.
