Two Drivers Hospitalized after Two-Vehicle Crash on US 101 in North Hoodsport
Hoodsport, WA (December 9, 2020) – Tuesday afternoon, two male drivers sustained injuries in a two-vehicle crash on US 101 in Mason County.
The Hoodsport crash happened at 12:50 p.m. on December 8.
State Patrol reports the Hoodsport driver crossed the centerline, striking the northbound Shelton driver.
Both drivers sustained injuries as a result of the impact. The 40-year-old Hoodsport man then airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle while the 23-year-old Shelton man was transported to Mason General Hospital in Shelton.
Meanwhile, charges are pending for the Hoodsport man as the investigation is on-going. Moreover, It is still unknown if drugs or alcohol contributed to the crash.
All lanes opened by 3:47 p.m., nearly three hours after the incident.
