2 People Hurt in Malone Auto Accident on Highway 12

 
MALONE, WA (June 17, 2020) – Two drivers suffered injuries in a truck crash on Highway 12 on June 15th in Malone.
 
According to reports, a semi crashed through a fence, two houses, and a camper.
 
The Washington State Patrol revealed that a 32-year-old Onalaska man drove an International semi with 2 tanker trailers on Highway 12 through Malone. However, he steered into oncoming traffic and crashed with a 63-year-old South Prairie driver in a Kenworth and trailer.
 
Upon the International semi’s jackknifing, it shut down all traffic. Meanwhile, the drove off the road and crashed through the fence, two houses, and a residential camper trailer.
 
Furthermore, Grays Harbor Fire District 5 revealed that the crash left two truck drivers with injuries. Responders took one driver to Summit Pacific Medical Center. Then, responders transported the other to Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia.
 
The police revealed that inattention caused the crash. The Onalaska man also received a citation for Negligent Driving 2nd Degree.
