CHP Investigates Crash on Old Millerton Road in Fresno

Fresno, CA (April 3, 2025) – A head-on crash on Old Millerton Road injured two drivers and disabled both vehicles, the California Highway Patrol (CHP) reported Wednesday.

In a social media post, CHP shared details of the crash, explaining that an “impatient driver” crossed a solid yellow line on Old Millerton Road, leading to a collision.

Both drivers suffered minor injuries and were taken to the hospital, officers said, crediting their seatbelts for preventing more serious harm. 

However, they emphasized that the outcome could have been “much worse.”

“No rush is worth risking lives. Passing over a solid or double yellow line is not only illegal but incredibly dangerous,” officers warned. “Stay focused, stay in your lane, and show respect for others on the road. 

Being safe is more important than arriving a few seconds earlier.”
