BERKELEY, CA (October 7, 2024) – Friday afternoon, 2 drivers suffered injuries in an alarming 2-vehicle crash on 800 Channing Way.

The incident happened at about 4:45 p.m. in the 800 block of Channing Way.

According to reports, two cars crashed, forcing one of the cars to hit a nearby home.

Both drivers sustained minor injuries, and no one inside the home was hurt, according to police.

It remains unclear if there were any passengers or how many people were inside the home at the time. Video footage showed the car that crashed into the house covered in police tape with deployed airbags.

A Berkeley fire engine was also spotted at the scene.
