2 People Killed after Being Ejected from Vehicle in Stockton
STOCKTON, CA (February 10, 2019) – Two people died after their car crashed in Stockton at around 5:30 a.m. Wednesday. The California Highway Patrol said that the crash happened on northbound 5 Freeway, south of West Charter Way.
According to the CHP, the driver lost control after his Honda was seen speeding and weaving in and out of traffic. The car drifted off the road toward the right then rolled over multiple times before landing in a ravine.
Two occupants of the Honda were ejected from the vehicle and were both pronounced dead at the scene. Their identities have not been released pending notification of next of kin.
It was reported that both victims were not wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash. No one else was harmed in the accident, as per CHP.
