2 Killed in Stanislaus County Motorcycle Accident on Santa Fe Avenue near South Avenue

 
STANISLAUS COUNTY, CA (August 5, 2021) – Tuesday night, two people died in a motorcycle crash on Santa Fe Avenue near South Avenue.
 
According to California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at around 10:30 p.m. Moreover, it occurred on Santa Fe Avenue, just north of South Avenue.
 
Reports revealed that a motorcycle lost control and crashed for still unknown reasons.
 
Furthermore, responders pronounced the motorcycle rider, a 53-year-old Stockton man, dead at the scene. Paramedics transported the 20-year-old female motorcycle passenger from Elk Grove. Responders took her to Memorial Medical Center in Modesto. Then, she was later pronounced dead.
 
Moreover, officials confirmed that both victims wore helmets at the time of the incident.
 
Meanwhile, authorities said that speed may have played a role in the crash. However, they’re also open to the possibility of another vehicle being involved in the incident.
