2 Killed in Kings County Traffic Accident on 27th Avenue and Elder Avenue
KINGS COUNTY, CA (January 30, 2023) – Saturday afternoon, two people died in a head-on crash on 27th Avenue and Elder Avenue.
The incident happened at around 3:30 p.m. at the intersection of 27th Avenue and Elder Avenue.
According to the California Highway Patrol, an eastbound Honda van collided head-on with an oncoming Hyundai sedan. Then, officers confirmed that one of the vehicles was traveling the wrong way when the collision occurred. Also, the sedan erupted into flames after the crash.
Moreover, responders pronounced the driver of both vehicles, dead at the scene.
At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
Meanwhile, the events leading to the fatal crash remained under investigation.
