Two-Vehicle Collision in Oceanside Kills 2, Injures 4 Others

OCEANSIDE, CA (February 6, 2019) – Two people were killed, and four were injured, in a two-vehicle collision at a busy intersection near Buccaneer Beach Tuesday afternoon.

According to the police, the collision occurred at South Coast Highway and Oceanside Boulevard a few minutes before 1 p.m.

Sgt. Greg Stahley confirmed that two people, both adults, died at the scene of the accident. Four others were injured and taken to the hospital, three of them via air ambulance.

The cause of the collision is still being investigated. The road crossing was closed during the investigation and has since reopened.
