Brutal 2-Car Crash on Pleasant Valley Road Injures 2 People [Oxnard, CA]

Oxnard, CA (March 21, 2025) – A brutal 2-car crash on Pleasant Valley Road resulted in 2 people getting hurt Thursday morning.

According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the disastrous collision happened at about 9:30 a.m. near Wolff Road.

Reports say that the two-vehicle collision injured two people and disrupted traffic Thursday east of Oxnard. The crash involved a red Jeep Liberty and a silver Mitsubishi Montero.

Authorities say that the Mitsubishi, traveling eastbound, collided with the westbound Jeep. The impact left both vehicles with major front-end damage. The Mitsubishi overturned onto a drainage culvert, while the Jeep came to rest in the westbound lane.

Both drivers, the only occupants, sustained minor injuries and were transported to local hospitals.

Officials briefly closed Pleasant Valley Road in both directions, later reopening one lane with alternating traffic. Investigators ruled out drugs, alcohol, and speed as factors. The CHP continues to investigate.
