2 People in Custody in Los Angeles Auto Accident
LOS ANGELES, CA (July 16, 2023) – Friday afternoon, authorities arrested two teens after a suspected carjacking crash in Los Angeles.
The incident happened at around 3:30 p.m. at an undisclosed location.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department Valley Traffic Division, authorities managed to locate a vehicle and attempted to make contact with the occupants.
Then, the vehicle fled the scene and later collided with a motorcycle patrol unit and another vehicle.
Moreover, responders transported the motorcycle officer and an occupant of the second vehicle to a hospital with minor injuries.
Furthermore, officers arrested the occupants of the suspect vehicle, a 13-year-old boy and a 15-year-old boy on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon.
At this time, the circumstances involved in the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
