Officers Search for Buttonwillow Rear-End Collision Suspect Driver

Buttonwillow, CA (June 28, 2023) – On Tuesday, an 18-year-old woman was seriously injured following a Highway 46 collision.

The authorities said the 18-year-old woman was driving eastbound on HWY 46, east of Holloway Road, driving a gray Nissan Versa at around 60 miles per hour. Suddenly, an eastbound driver on the same freeway, west of Holloway Road was traveling a high rate of speed.

The GMC rear-ended the Nissan seriously injuring its driver while the GMC driver drove eastbound without stopping.

Moreover, evidence gathered at the scene determined that the suspect vehicle is a dark-colored, 2015-2019 GMC Sierra 2500 HD, which would have major front-end damage.

In the meantime, the authorities asked any witnesses with details that would lead to the identity of the suspect’s vehicle or its driver to call CHP Officer T. Sanders at the Buttonwillow Area office at (661) 764-5580.

Preventing Traffic Accidents

Traffic safety continues to be a life-and-death matter, yet reckless driving has not declined. One person is killed in a vehicle accident every couple of hours.

Driving your children to school, driving to the market, or driving to fill up on gas should not be a life-and-death matter. Even so, the likelihood of car accidents continues to rise.

Moreover, sharing the road is a shared responsibility. It is vital to keep an eye out for those who are on the road with you.

Let us do our share to prevent traffic mishaps like the Highway 46 collision.

What Follows a Traffic Collision

Your safety on the road is never guaranteed; knowledge is a powerful tool. Indeed, in uncertain times such as these, you may want to speak to a professional in case of an accident.

Knowing what steps to take following the Buttonwillow rear-end collision can mean the difference between financial prosperity and financial disparity. The consequences of a severe accident can follow you for months, even years, if you don’t have your legal doubts cleared by an expert.

It is good to know that the aftershock of a traffic accident is not something to be dealt with alone. The burden is meant to be shared; preferably, with a community that knows how to handle the effects.
