1 Airlifted after Victorville Auto Accident on 15 Freeway near Roy Rogers Drive

 
VICTORVILLE, CA (September 30, 2020) – Sunday, an 18-year-old driver suffered injuries in a crash on 15 Freeway near Roy Rogers Drive.
 
The incident occurred at around 7:00 p.m. on the southbound 15 Freeway, between Roy Rogers Drive and Mojave Drive.
 
According to the CHP officials, the teen drove a 1999 Ford Ranger. However, he maneuvered an unsafe lane change and crashed with a tractor-trailer combination.
 
Then, the Ford rolled over and laned on its side, along the right shoulder of 15 Freeway.
 
Meanwhile, the Victorville City Firefighters came to the scene and utilized extrication tools to free the victim. The crash left the driver with blunt force head trauma. Moreover, a ground ambulance took him to Victor Valley Global Medical Center.
 
Eventually, a Reach Helicopter took him to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center.
 
Furthermore, the 56-year-old male Semi driver was uninjured. The authorities said that he’s a resident of Bakersfield.
 
On the other hand, the authorities urge anyone with information about the crash to contact the Victorville CHP station at 760-241-1186.
