Female Driver Involved in Vehicle-Pedestrian Collision on 16th Avenue
Spokane Valley, WA (February 8, 2023) – On Monday evening, a 17-year-old girl suffered serious injuries in a pedestrian crash on 16th Avenue.
SVPD says that the vehicle-pedestrian collision happened after 8:15 p.m. in the 14200 block of 16th Avenue.
Reports say that 4 17-year-olds were causing a disturbance at the residence. Police responded to the scene of the disorderly call.
Authorities say that 10 minutes after the call, a Toyota Camry struck a 17-year-old girl, officials say that the girl was reportedly involved in the disorderly call.
Meanwhile, the 17-year-old female driver was not involved in the initial call, stayed at the scene, and was cooperating with authorities.
SVPD says that paramedics transported the 17-year-old pedestrian to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Police are investigating the pedestrian crash and have not released additional details at this time.
