1 Injured in Antioch Pedestrian Accident on 10th Street and Auto Center Drive

 
ANTIOCH, CA (September 20, 2020) – Friday night, a 16-year-old boy suffered injuries in a crash on 10th Street and Auto Center Drive.
 
The officers responded to the scene around 6:17 p.m. on West 10th Street at Auto Center Drive. According to reports, a driver struck the teenager. Upon their arrival, they found the boy unresponsive and with major injuries.
 
Thus they airlifted the victim to a trauma center for surgery. As of this time, the boy is listed in critical condition.
 
Meanwhile, the driver stayed at the scene and helped with the officers. Furthermore, the police do not believe that alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash.
