Teen Dies in Porterville Bicycle Crash on Olive Avenue and Newcomb Street

 
PORTERVILLE, CA (October 21, 2020) – On Friday night, a hit-and-run accident on Olive Avenue killed a 15-year-old boy.
 
According to California Highway Patrol officials, the incident happened at around 10:40 p.m. 23-year-old H. Torres, struck the 15-year-old boy riding a bike on West Olive Avenue and North Newcomb Street.
 
As a result, responders rushed the teen to Sierra View District Hospital. Unfortunately, the boy later succumbed to his injuries.
 
Meanwhile, reports revealed that Torres fled the scene but was eventually arrested by authorities.
