15-year-old Boy Hospitalized after Bicycle Crash on Washington Road [Nevada City, CA]

NEVADA CITY, CA (October 1, 2020) – Tuesday afternoon, a 15-year-old boy suffered injuries in a bicycle crash on Washington Road.
 
The California Highway Patrol officers came to the crash scene at about 12:15 p.m. Initially, the report received by the officers was a hit-and-run. However, spokesman Mike Steele said that the boy was probably startled by a car. As a result, he fell from his bike.
 
As of this time, the authorities are still investigating the cause of the fall.
 
Meanwhile, responders transported the boy to a Roseville hospital with moderate to major injuries.
