Multiple Vehicles Involved in Collision near Oak Hill Road

HESPERIA, CA (December 25, 2018) – At least 10 people were hospitalized after a crash on northbound 15 Freeway, Tuesday morning.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place at approximately 6:34 AM, just south of Oak Hill Road. Based on their report, at least 10 to 12 vehicles were found on the northbound side, while four to six vehicles were positioned at the southbound side.

The paramedics were called for needed medical attention. They had transported a total of 10 victims who were hurt in the pile-up. Four were transported to Desert Valley Hospital, four to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center, one to Victor Valley Global Medical Center, and the last one was sent to Loma Linda University Hospital. All conditions were said to be non-life-threatening.

All lanes were blocked by the commotion. Towing services were requested for cleaning and clearing operations were performed in the area. The cause of the collision is currently under investigation, but the responders reported heavy rain, fog and ice at the time of the accident. Additional information will be disclosed to the public, once it becomes available.
