One Hospitalized after Multi-Vehicle Accident on Adams Avenue

EASTON, CA (December 2, 2018) – Sunday afternoon, one woman suffered injuries after she was involved in a car crash on Highway 41.

According to authorities, the collision took place around 1:30 PM near Adams Avenue. Reports indicate that the woman and her husband, both in their 70s, were heading south on the highway in a white Toyota.

As they slowly approached a red light on Adams, a semi-truck traveling behind them failed to stop and rear-ended their vehicle. Another vehicle preparing to turn onto Highway 41, was also struck by flying debris. Due to the impact of the accident, the female occupant sustained injuries and was transported to Community Regional Medical Center. There are no new updates on her condition. No other injuries were reportedly sustained in the crash.

The surrounding area was closed for a brief time while crews worked to clean and finalize preliminary investigation. No word on citations or additional information has been disclosed to the public at this time.
