Unidentified Man Injured in Dayton Motorcycle Accident
DAYTON, NV (April 26, 2020) – Thursday afternoon, an unidentified person sustained serious injuries in a motorcycle accident on Highway 50.
Reports revealed that the serious injury crash occurred in Lyon County east of Carson City. According to reports, the incident involving a motorcycle rider and a vehicle took place in the eastbound lane of Highway 50 in the Dayton Hill area.
LCSO Dispatch/911 Communications Center added that due to the accident, all lanes were closed in the area. The authorities advised motorists to use alternate routes and yield to emergency vehicles.
Meanwhile, the Nevada Highway Patrol revealed that the incident occurred shortly before 4:00 p.m. When the responders arrived at the scene, they took the injured motorcyclist to the hospital.
According to records, the incident was the second serious injury crash on Highway 50 between Mound House and Dayton for two days. Another collision occurred Wednesday on Highway 50 East in Mound House. The said collision led to a fatality. However, the identity of the deceased person was still not disclosed at this time.
