Fatality Reported in Perris 4-Car Crash Involving Government Vehicle

 
PERRIS, CA (January 26, 2021) – Friday afternoon, a person died in a multi-vehicle accident involving a government vehicle in Perris.
 
The California Highway Patrol along with Riverside and Cal Fire Perris all responded to the multiple vehicle traffic crash. According to reports, a person was trapped in the wreckage.
 
Upon their arrival, they discovered that four cars were involved. One of them was a Riverside County Department of Transportation vehicle.
 
According to authorities, the Riverside DOT vehicle struck the small car on the driver’s side door. As a result, one of the occupants was trapped.
 
Meanwhile, an AMR transported one person. On the other hand, another person was declared dead at the scene. However, the authorities haven’t clarified which vehicle the deceased victim was in.
 
The crash remains under active investigation.
