Unidentified Person Severely Hurt in Lompoc Car Accident on Highway 246

 
LOMPOC, CA (May 18, 2020) – Early Saturday afternoon, a person sustained injuries in a two-car collision on Highway 246 in Lompoc.
 
The California Highway Patrol revealed that the incident happened at around 12:52 p.m. on Highway 246 and Mission Gate Road.
 
According to the officers, the two sedans crashed for reasons still unidentified. The impact sent one of the sedans off the road. Meanwhile, the other vehicle partially blocked the roadway.
 
The authorities also reported that one of the vehicles suffered a ripped off hood in the collision.
 
When the ambulance arrived at the crash scene, they transported a person with severe injuries to receive treatment at a hospital.
 
Towing services were requested in the area due to the extent of damage sustained.
