Impairment Suspected in Gardnerville Rollover Crash that Injured One Person
GARDNERVILLE, NV (May 23, 2019) – One person suffered serious injuries in a rollover crash on Highway 88 Tuesday night. Involved in the crash were two vehicles as per reports from The Nevada Highway Patrol (NHP). The crash occurred north of Centerville Lane near Gardnerville.
One of the two cars involved rolled over. CareFlight responded to the scene and attended to the victim with serious injuries.
NHP said they believe impairment was a factor in the crash. Subsequently, they ordered the closure of northbound Highway 88. They also shut down Centerville Lane to Waterloo Lane for at least an hour.
