VALENCIA, CA (October 31, 2021) – Saturday afternoon, a person suffered injuries in a pedestrian crash on Sandalia Drive.
 
According to reports, the incident happened at 12:10 p.m. in the 25000 block of Sandalia Drive.
 
Reports confirmed that a vehicle struck a person as they tried to stop a robbery suspect from taking a case of water outside their Valencia home.
 
Miguel Ornelas with the Los Angeles County Fire Department said, “It was a vehicle versus a pedestrian, and nobody was transported on our side.”
 
“The suspect attempted to take property outside the home,” revealed Lieutenant Phillips with the Santa Clarita Sheriff’s Station.
 
Meanwhile, some witnesses last saw the suspect heading west on Sandalia Drive in an older model black Audi. Moreover, the authorities described the suspect as a 30-year-old Hispanic male. Also, he wore a black shirt, black shorts, and black sandals, as well as a hat and sunglasses.
 
Furthermore, by 12:35 p.m., the suspect remains at large.
