Multiple Car Collision on 5 Freeway Near Elk Grove Boulevard Left 1 Person Injured

 
Elk Grove, CA (April 13, 2020) – A multiple car crash was reported on April 8 on the 5 Freeway near Elk Grove Boulevard.
 
The California Highway Patrol responded to the scene at about 3:03 p.m. Wednesday along the southbound lanes of the interstate near Elk Grove Boulevard.
 
According to the CHP report, there were at least 4 vehicles involved in the multi-vehicle crash.
 
At first, it was still unclear how the collision on the 5 freeway took place.
 
However, upon further investigation, one of the vehicles was said to have struck a pole and a road sign.
 
Furthermore, at least one person sustained injuries from the multiple car crash on the 5 Freeway.
 
No further details have been released yet. Once provided, this will be updated.
 
Currently, the investigation is still ongoing.
