9 Vehicles Pile Up Following Collision on Interstate 8 Near Lake Murray Boulevard

La Mesa, CA (September 24, 2021) – A collision on Interstate 8 involving nine vehicles left one person injured on Thursday morning. 

The incident occurred on September 23 on Interstate 8 near Lake Murray Boulevard at about 7:30 a.m.

According to the report, one of the vehicles involved flipped onto its side. 

The agency’s traffic reporting system said that three-four vehicle-crash caused several other vehicles to collide. Thus, making one car turn onto its side. 

Due to the impact of the collision, one person sustained injuries however, the severity of the injuries was unknown.

The California Highway Patrol issued SigAlert due to the extent of the collision.
