Person Hospitalized in Metrolink Train Accident on Amar Road

 
Industry, CA (August 1, 2020) – On Friday, a person was injured in a Metrolink Train accident on Amar Road.
 
Metrolink’s Scott Johnson said the accident happened at around 5:45 p.m. when the San Bernardino Line 331 train struck the victim as it was moving westbound between Baldwin Park and El Monte stations.
 
The victim survived the crash and was rushed to a hospital, Johnson and the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Industry Station watch commander said.
 
However, authorities have not yet disclosed the victim’s condition, age, and gender.
 
Meanwhile, Johnson also said the train resumed service after about 30 minutes. Though, trains on the San Bernardino line will experience delays Friday evening as a result of the accident.
