1 Person Injured, Kevin Morris Arrested in DUI Crash on Nevada Street [Spokane, WA]

1 Hospitalized in Spokane Auto Accident on Nevada Street and Empire Avenue

 
SPOKANE, WA (June 22, 2021) – Sunday night, a person sustained injuries while authorities arrested Kevin Morris after a DUI crash on Nevada Street.
 
According to the Spokane Police Department, the incident happened at around 8:45 p.m. Moreover, it occurred at the intersection of North Nevada Street and East Empire Avenue.
 
Reports revealed that a southbound vehicle struck a northbound three-wheeled motorcycle. Apparently, the rider attempted to make a turn towards East Empire Avenue from North Nevada Street. Then, the rider slowed down for a pedestrian crossing the intersection and the crash occurred.
 
Furthermore, responders transported the motorcyclist to a hospital in critical condition. Meanwhile, a passenger of the causing vehicle was taken to a hospital for evaluation. The pedestrian sustained no injuries.
 
Moreover, the driver of the causing vehicle, 25-year-old Kevin Morris, showed signs of impairment from cannabis.
 
Also, authorities booked Morris into the Spokane County Jail. He was charged with vehicular assault and DUI.
