Police Investigate Rollover Crash on Main Street in Joplin

Joplin, Mo (May 14, 2025) – Around 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday, a rollover crash on Main Street near 33rd prompted an alert to E-911.

In response, authorities immediately halted northbound traffic on Main Street between 34th and 33rd Streets.

Joplin Police, Fire Department, and METS quickly arrived at the scene.

Responders found a car overturned in the middle of the road. According to Joplin Police traffic officers, both the car and a pickup truck had been traveling side-by-side northbound on Main when they collided. 

The impact caused the car to hit the median curb and flip over.

Emergency personnel transported one person from the car to a nearby hospital with non-emergency injuries.

Cottrill’s Towing removed the overturned car, while the pickup truck was cleared to drive away from the scene.
