LAKEWOOD, CA (January 20, 2021) – Monday afternoon, a person sustained injuries in a hit-and-run crash on Interstate 5 near State Route 512.
 
According to reports, a southbound Honda driven by a 20-year-old man was in the left lane of the road near State Route 512, just north of Bridgeport. Then, the vehicle in front of him suddenly braked and slowed down.
 
As a result, the Honda driver switched lanes, but the causing vehicle also switched lanes and collided with the Honda. Thus, the force of the crash pushed the Honda towards the right end of the road where it comes into rest.
 
Moreover, authorities revealed that the causing driver continued driving south after the collision.
 
Meanwhile, responders transported the driver to a hospital with a possible broken leg and non-life-threatening injuries.
