2 SUVs Collide near Kyburz, Delaying Traffic in Echo Summit

 
KYBURZ, CA (July 30, 2019) – An SUV collision on Highway 50 near Kyburz sent at least one person to the hospital Friday morning.
 
The California Highway Patrol said two SUVs collided in the Whitehall Canyon area at about 11:30 a.m. A car turning onto the highway was struck. First responders transported at least one person to a medical facility.
 
The crash also caused major traffic delays in the eastbound lanes starting at Bridle Veil Falls. Caltrans responded to the scene with one-way traffic control, while emergency crews cleared the scene.
